I have done this for years now, but the first thing I have to do when getting to my room is to hop into the shower. I have to take a shower before I can do anything else.
If I have something urgent to do before taking a shower, I do that. But I feel dirty and disgusted if I don’t take a shower first. Imagine being trapped inside a plane, train or a public bus for hours. All the germs, coughs, and sneezes that were all over that place. How can folks NOT shower when they go to their hotel room?
If you were in your own car to the hotel, than that’s a different story.

When I’m done, I put on clean pajamas and jump in bed.
For some reason, 99% of the time when I check in to hotels it has been during nighttime. I don’t know why though, regardless of what I’m doing, and for whatever reason I go to hotels, somehow I end up there in the evening/night. That’s the reason for putting on the PJs.
Imagine the feeling of feeling all clean and washed, then sleeping in a bed with newly washed sheets and all. Gosh, that is one of the most satisfying feelings ever.
