Do actors know the movie/series they’re working on is good?

James Cromwell wasn’t sure when he was filming “Babe” – 1995.

He got $50,000 to be in the film. He couldn’t quite imagine the CGI effects that were going to be put in later.

So, at first, Cromwell turned down the role. But after thinking about it, he did the film. When “Babe”was released it went on to make over $250 million dollars worldwide. And although Cromwell did not realize at the time that he was making an iconic film, he was later nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his wonderful performance. He later realized that he has been part of a phenomenal, enduring, memorable film, although he was vastly underpaid for it.

This post has been up since July of 2022, and all of a sudden today November 27th 2023, for no reason Quora collapsed my wonderful post. It’s so depressing watching the posts which I’ve worked so hard on and contain no offensive material be blacked out for no reason by an impassionate algorithm, idiotic moderators or AI, whatever Quora uses. So sad makes me wanna quit.
