Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr both spent quality time with George a few days before he passed on. Ringo had to fly out because his daughter was having brain surgery. Paul determined not to put himself in the middle of the last hours George and his family would have together. George passed away in the midst of his wife Olivia and son Dhani. I do not know if anyone else was there.
One of the last requests George made of Paul was to forgive Yoko. That unforgiveness was too heavy a burden for him to carry. So Paul did that. It sat heavy with George because he didn’t feel he and John had forgiven one another, he didn’t want Paul to have that burden.
You see it didn’t matter how often they fought, they always had that love. Four simple lads from Liverpool who loved music, and ya know what? Music loved them back.
