George Clooney has an older sister, Adelia Clooney. She is not a glamorous woman, but a simple housewife and mother to two adult children while married to the same man for over forty years. Adelia, unlike her brother, has never sought fame or fortune and has always avoided the limelight. She’s a simple, homely-looking lady who lives a peaceful life, not bothering anyone.
The same can be said of many other “celebrity siblings”, they just live their own lives away from the spotlight. Sometimes, they become actors, too. Alec Baldwin has a bunch of brothers who are all actors. Mark Wahlberg’s brothers are in showbusiness, too. And then there’s Brad Pitt’s brother, Doug, who isn’t in Hollywood but who has carved a fine life for himself as a businessman, philantropist and freestyle mountaineer.
But I’d say Adelia Clooney takes the cake in this regard — no one who would run into her would ever guess she’s related to George. They don’t look particularly alike and she’s not at all glamorous, and proudly so.
