Sly Stallone as the terminator would be a complete joke. He may look big and intimidating when filming the Rambo films…scrambling around the Jungle half naked like Arnold’s Character from the predator. Arnold looked literally twice his size, and was.
People all too often forget how small Stallone is….5’7 and a ripped 175lbs for Rambo II. He fits the bill for that character….perfectly.
The Terminator films would require a much larger, bulkier man…in part to keep his endoskeleton and other mechanical parts well hidden. (underneath the organic layer of skin, and muscle tissue. )
So who would make the more believable killer robot? The short, ripped, Stallone…or the fucking massive, bulked up, Mr.Olympia….Arnold?
When Arnold filmed Terminator over 3 decades ago, he was standing at exactly 6’1” tall, without boots, and weighed in at around 250lbs.
It looked entirely believable that under all his mass, a hidden metal skeleton could exist. Very plausible, and it obviously worked well!
