Yes Meghan did wear a silver cross that is believed to have belonged to her mother-in-law Diana. However research has indicated Diana never was ever seen wearing such a silver cross.
Furthermore royal protocol suggests wearing a cross could upset other religions, and if anything the Royals ALWAYS wish to be all things to all people, so it is said by those close to Diana, people who worked with her that they have never seen such a cross. Though strangely she borrowed what is known as the Attallah Cross a jewel encrusted pendant which was larger than life. and very unusual to see.
What is known is Meghan liked to have jewellery made up for her to which she would give a little story to explain it some.
So in wearing that unknown silver necklace in Nigeria and Meghan telling a fitting story to explain it, failed in what seems a brazen lie to understand why Diana would not have had such a cross in the first place.
However, in defence of Meghan, whilst there is no proof that I know of, it is entirely possible that the silver cross did exist for Diana way back when she was a young girl and way before she became a Royal with Royal duties.
A lady’s jewel box usually contains many things now forgotten.
But trust Meghan……………….never.
Pierce Morgan said of her she lied, and lied, and lied again and then went on to lie again and again, but she didn’t stop there and began all over again to lie and then another, had a break then started telling lies again and again, over and over again lie after lie never stopping telling more and more lies until Morgan said he counted 17 lies,
For most people one lie is enough to not trust that person ever again. But 17 is cesspool of filth that Oprah allowed to be aired without taking the time to check any of the statements out. In fact before that Oprah said she trusted Meghan 1000% how silly must she feel now for saying that.
I am surprised she wasn’t sued for Billions. In fact Morgan challenged Meghan and by definition Oprah to sue him about his claim. But what do you know, now with her fingers burnt and $9m lighter Oprah agrees Meghan told lies.
So what ever she said about that silver cross in Nigeria, on balance of probabilities, even if it was something Diana had been given to her at the age of 9, which by the way would have made a great story, is likely to be just another lie.

Be kind and let’s not judge her by our standards as she probably does not have the capacity to be normal and behave nicely. Though we must always have in mind the evil she poses and the danger to anyone she touches.
Edit. It has been correctly brought to my notice that a few Royals do wear a cross at times. I can only guess it might be on special occasions as the Monarch is the head of the church. Protocol still demands they do not flaunt it.
